Digital publication BURO.'s has taken their first venture into NFTs, culminating a luxuriously designed Tarot card, entitled the BURO. Metaverse Marvels. The collection contains a total of 11 non-fungible tokens (NFTs), with each tarot card created in partnership with British Tarot reader and medium, Anna O’Brien, to provide insight into what the future holds for its collectors in 2022.
The first 10 cards will be sold as a Mystery Box via Binance NFT, while the super super rare 11th card – the Wheel of Fortune – will be auctioned as a 1 of 1 exclusively on the luxury NFT marketplace, Brytehall.com. There are a total number of 5,000 Mystery Boxes up for grabs.
If you are familiar with how Tarot card decks work, there are two divisions of cards—the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The former, which are considered to Super Rare tier cards in this NFT context, reflect important life lessons, events or milestones, while the latter that are noted here as the Rare tier, reflect day-to-day events. If you open 3 mystery boxes comprising of 2 BURO. Minor Arcana NFT and 1 BURO. Major Arcana NFT before the secondary market opens, you qualify to be part of a 5,000 BUSD prize pool, which will be split amongst the first 20 qualified collectors to do so.
On the other hand, if you manage to collect all 10 unique Mystery Marvel boxes by 1 June, essentially forming a full Tarot deck, you stand a chance to win a personalised reading with reader, Anna O'Brien, online. If you manage to do so before 7AM SGT on 1 June, you can also participate in the auction on Brytehall for the 1 of 1 Wheel of Fortune NFT. The highest bidder of the latter will receive the opportunity to fly to London to have an in-person tarot reading with Anna. This auction closes 7PM SGT, 3 June, and w inners will be contacted by 4 June with details on prize redemption.
