Joining the Asmodee portfolio, Tug! is described as a tug of war in a box and a battle of brains over brawn, from the inventor of Confident?

Tug! has been designed to play with friends and family and is ideal for quiz lovers. Two teams go head-to-head in a game of brains over brawn and try and answer fun 50:50 questions in a back-and-forth battle played out inside the game box, which unfolds into a mini tug of war arena with suspended rope and flag.

The game has been released as part of Asmodee Unbox’nPlay, which distributes table top games and accessories in the UK and includes major titles such as Dobble (see the latest introduction here), Catan, Bananagrams, BrainBox and The Pokémon Trading Card Game.

Natalie Podd, co-Founder and inventor at Confident Games, said: “Our focus since launching Confident? has been to increase its awareness worldwide, with it now being sold in ten regional versions in nine languages across the world and more coming in 2023. We’ve been working on several new games, and Tug! stood out with its exciting gameplay and the attention-grabbing concept of the tug-of-war in a box.”

The game is quick to learn and play and offers excitement and tension as the stakes rise as the game goes on. It comes with over 1,400 questions on 120 cards which are held in a novel card holder which reveals one answer at a time, all in a travel-friendly sized box.
