Coinciding with their prominence in Marvel's AXE: Judgement Day, the Celestials receive their own Name Generator courtesy of writer Kieron Gillen.

With Marvel Comics' princ cosmic entities and Eternals creators, the Celestials, receiving the spotlight in writer Kieron Gillen (Uncanny X-Men) and Valerio Schiti (Tony Stark: Iron Man)'s A.X.E. Judgment Day, Gillen has unveiled the first and very own Celestial Name Generator. As some of the most prominent characters in the modern Marvel Universe, Gillen's Celestial Name Generator only heightens the importance of these powerful beings.

Gillen and Schiti's A.X.E. Judgment Day crossover event positions the Celestials as ultimate adversaries, helping orchestrate the conflict between superhero teams the Avengers, X-Men, and Eternals. With the X-Men and all mutant kind gaining further prominence on a cosmic scale, the Celestials have begun to take notice. As the event continues, the ongoing battle between the heroes and the Celestials spirals into an even more personal affair than encounters of the past.

In response to regular Twitter user, Karen, X-Men Fan, Kieron Gillen reveals the Celestial Name Generator. The name generator is equipped with a set of instructions for fans to follow in order to properly receive their Celestial namesake. The first step instructs users to choose the first syllable of the first object that they can identify. Following this introductory mark, the ensuing step requires the roll of a D6 dice to gain a varying number of potential outcomes: 1-2= SHEM, 3-4=AR, and 5-6=ON. Once the outcomes are obtained, fans will then be asked to rewind the clock back five minutes and adjust their most recent activity into a verb (ex. run= runner). The fourth and final step finally brings together past data with Gillen's following formula: 1+2+The+3, leading to a personalized Celestial name.

The comment section of Gillen's original post sees several fans come together as one to share their original Celestial names with keen enthusiasm. A few of the Celestial names that are highlighted include Posar the Runner, Shoon the Studier, Waton the Eater, and Jishen the Procrastinator.

Given their role as cosmic harbingers as opposed to pure supervillains, the Celestials are often omitted from numerous Marvel villain discussions. Noteworthy Celestials Arishem the Judge, Eson the Searcher, Exitar the Executioner, and Tiamut the Dreaming Celestial have formerly tangled with the likes of Thor, The Fantastic Four and The Avengers. Similar to another space-faring nuisance, Galactus the "Devourer of Worlds", the Celestials are generally not self-serving villains with a personal grudge against Earth and its heroes. There is a need for the Celestials to uphold a state of balance within the cosmos. Though they are literal gods, each Celestial name helps to give these monotonal gods their own character and personality amidst the Eternals and their other judged inhabitants.

Marvel Comics' A.X.E. Judgment Day #4 releases to select retailers on September 14th.
