As you may recall, NECA had several years back turned H.R. Giger‘s original translucent Xenomorph concept for Alien into an action figure, and now Mezco is doing the very same.

The original prototype suit for the “Big Chap” Alien was cast in a translucent flesh-tone but repeated difficulties with the material forced the change to the black suit seen in the movie.

Mezco notes of their limited edition figure based on that prototype suit, “This pale, translucent Xenomorph is a limited edition and never to be produced again by Mezco.”

“The One:12 Collective Alien “Concept Edition” features a seamless body designed with an internal skeleton armature that creates the feel of the creature’s suit from the film’s developmental stages. The aggressive eponymous creature has a hinged jaw with interchangeable inner mouths, as well as an interchangeable chest plate pierced by the ASSO-400 Harpoon Grappling Gun, as seen in the final scene of the movie. All of Alien’s accessories have taken on a semiopaque, milky look to compliment the originally designed suit and honor the conceptualization of what became one of the most iconic movie monsters ever created.”

You can pre-order yours for $100, with the figures shipping April-June 2022.

Looking for that last-minute Christmas gift for Five Nights at Freddy’s fans (who already have the recently-released Security Breach)? Funko has announced a new product lineup, and FNAF is first in line. POPsies are figures which have a pop-up message feature, and are available exclusively in Walmart stores starting December 26 for $6.98 USD.

In addition to Five Nights at Freddy’s, the POPsies line includes heroes and villains from DC and Marvel, with more coming. At the moment, the FNAF line includes Freddy Fazbear in regular and gold variant, and Foxy. The overall POPsies lineup will inevitably expand, and include seasonal variants.

Meanwhile, the long-awaited Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
